All’Antico Vinaio was established in 1989 when the Mazzanti family took over a small rotisserie on Via dei Neri. Since then, it has become renowned for offering some of the best sandwiches you’ll ever taste. Their extensive menu ensures there’s something for everyone, making it a favourite among locals and tourists. During our trip to Milan, we eagerly anticipated trying their famous sandwiches, and they certainly lived up to the hype. If you have the opportunity to visit, don’t miss out!

Fun fact
They have branches across different regions in Italy and America. The concept has gone completely viral on TikTok, which means there is (almost) always a long queue in front of the takeaway restaurant. We queued for half an hour, which was not too bad.
