Café Saturnus is a beloved all-day café and restaurant nestled in Östermalm, Stockholm. Since opening its doors in 1989, it has become both a neighbourhood favourite and a cultural hub, where good food, art, conversation, and cosy atmosphere come together.
A standout here is their giant cinnamon buns (“kanelbullar”), often claimed to be the largest in town. The menu carries subtle French-inspired touches, from fluffy omelettes to buttery croissants, giving a hint of Parisian charm to both the food and the décor.

We ordered the mashed avocado toast, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had such delicious avocado toast before. The scrambled eggs on top were also really light and fluffy. Perfect for starting the day.
Fun fact
You should definitely go to the bathroom when you visit, because the walls are amazing! Decorated with some sort of shells.
