Great experience at Astro Boy in Gent. The meat gyozas were juicy and full of flavour, and the beef tataki was beautifully tender. The marinated salmon was fresh and well-balanced, while the baba ganoush added a nice smoky touch to the table. The slow-cooked ribs were rich and comforting, and the fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and hard to resist. Perfect spot for sharing plates and enjoying a relaxed, lively atmosphere.

One of the reasons Astro Boy stands out is that it was opened by the same team behind Golden Gai, a popular ramen bar in Gent, and carries over that creative, lively spirit into a Japanese izakaya concept with small sharing plates, cocktails and natural wines.
