Humm Antwerp

Humm Antwerp

Humm is a plant-based Middle-Eastern restaurant and deli in the Zurenborg district, offering breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner in a relaxed setting with indoor and outdoor seating. The kitchen focuses on fresh, seasonal and sustainably sourced ingredients, and the full menu is entirely vegan, with mezze, bowls, pitas and sharing plates inspired by Mediterranean and Middle Eastern street food. The adjoining deli also provides take-out options and pantry items for home use.

On the menu you’ll find a wide range of dishes from hummus and baba ganoush to falafel bowls, stuffed pitas and more inventive plates such as the Shoarmageddon pita or Return of the Pita, alongside salads and seasonal mezze. The restaurant also serves a selection of drinks, including homemade lemonades, kombucha, natural wines, coffee and tea, with offerings that span casual daytime meals to more substantial evening dining.

I had a really great meal at Humm in Antwerp. The plant-based menu brings fresh, Middle Eastern-inspired flavours together in a way that feels both satisfying and vibrant. The sweet potato fries added a nice contrast of texture, and natural drinks such as lemonades and kombucha complemented the food perfectly.

Humm went fully plant-based in June 2021 after the team decided to remove all meat and dairy from the menu for environmental and ethical reasons. A deliberate shift that now defines the restaurant’s identity and commitment to sustainable, vegan dining.
