La Terrazza sits in a beautiful art-deco building that dates back to the early 20th century. Inside, the atmosphere feels warm and unpretentious, with tables neatly laid beneath soft lighting that invites long conversations over plates of fresh pasta and seafood. The menu reflects real Italian craftsmanship, given a contemporary edge with seasonal ingredients and subtle twists. Chef Enrico and hostess Valentina, both originally from Sardinia, bring their passion for authentic Italian flavours and a heartfelt welcome that makes every visit feel personal rather than routine.
On a sunny afternoon, the terrace out front becomes a real highlight. Locals drift in for lunch and linger over wine. The service strikes a sweet balance between attentive and relaxed, so whether you’ve popped in for a mid-week meal or made an evening of it with friends, the experience feels effortless.

Em’s star rating
We had vitello tonnato, tonno vitellato and melanzana, followed by vongole & bottarga and the carima bavetta. The vongole & bottarga was definitely my favourite, but the tiramisu, prepared à la minute at the table, stole the show. Even the dama blanche was lovely, though I’d go back just for that tiramisu.
Fun fact
La Terrazza is housed in a protected art-deco building designed by the notable Belgian architect Léon Stynen in 1933, giving the restaurant a fascinating architectural backdrop that diners don’t always expect.
