
Gelato Giuliano is the place to go for unadulterated Italian ‘gelato’ with a bold, contemporary twist. The hip ice cream parlour, located on Marnixplaats, is a promising collaboration between the Dheedene family and chef and artisanal ice cream maker Julien Limbach. Their goal: to reintroduce Belgium’s fashion city to refined, artisanal ice cream with a wide range of tantalising flavours.
Gelato Giuliano stands for irresistible Italian ice cream preparations; a combination of Italian tradition and Carpigiani’s know-how on the one hand and Julien Limbach’s culinary insights and sense of innovation on the other.

This is one of my go-to ice cream shops in Antwerp during the summer. I absolutely love it, and the location is perfect near Marnixplaats.
Fun fact
The chef behind Gelato Giuliano actually became Belgian ice cream champion with a super unusual flavour, a mix of porcini mushrooms, black olives, and pistachio.
