Yam Thai is a Thai street food café located in the Zuid district of Antwerp, where it has been bringing authentic flavours to the city since around 2012. The restaurant focuses on traditional Thai cooking, using fresh ingredients, herbs and spices to recreate the bold, balanced tastes typical of Southeast Asia.
The concept is deliberately casual and social, inspired by Thai street food culture, where dishes are often shared at the table. The interior reflects that idea with a relaxed, lively atmosphere rather than a formal dining setting.

Yam Thai is one of those places that doesn’t disappoint. The flavours are really fresh and authentic, and you can tell everything is made with care. I like going there when I’m in the mood for something comforting but still full of spice and character.
Fun fact
Yam Thai focuses on dishes that are meant to be shared, just like in Thailand, where meals are usually enjoyed together rather than ordered individually, so the whole experience is built around the table, not just the plate.
