Standard Antwerp

Standard is a laid-back pizza spot in Antwerp, located on the PAKT site in the Groen Kwartier, a former industrial area that’s been turned into a hub for creative businesses and urban farming. The concept is simple and focused: sourdough pizzas, fresh salads and a short menu that follows the seasons.

The space itself keeps that raw, industrial feel, with concrete, simple furniture and a big stone oven as the centrepiece. It’s not about fancy design or fine dining, but about quality ingredients and a relaxed atmosphere where people gather for good food.

Standard is one of those easy places you keep coming back to. The pizzas are light, full of flavour, and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I liked the whole setting too. Simple, a bit industrial, but really relaxed. It’s perfect when you just want good food without any fuss.

Fun fact

A lot of the herbs and vegetables used at Standard actually come from the rooftop gardens right above the restaurant at PAKT. So some of what ends up on your pizza has barely travelled more than a few meters.
