ANJU in Brussels is a Korean-inspired restaurant from Chef Sang Hoon Degeimbre, where flavour and conviviality take centre stage. It’s not your typical casual spot; it sits in a minimalist, modern space in Saint-Gilles and celebrates Korean culture through food meant to share and pair with drinks, a concept rooted in the Korean word anju itself.
It is described as a vibrant, creative place with seasonal dishes, bold flavours and a relaxed vibe that draws both locals and visitors.

Really loved our dinner at ANJU. The yukhoe was fresh and flavorful, the mandoo perfectly crispy, and the japchae was delicious. The Korean fried chicken was a highlight, super crispy and full of flavour. We also really enjoyed the octopus and the duck bulgogi, which was tender and perfectly seasoned. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and excellent food. Can’t wait to come back.
Fun Fact
ANJU takes its name from the Korean word “anju” (안주), which refers to dishes specifically meant to be shared while drinking alcohol, which explains the restaurant’s very social, sharing-style menu.
