Had a great lunch at Panotto. The schiacciata’s were fresh, crispy and full of flavour. The carpaccio and vitello tonnato combinations were especially good, and the limoncello spritz was a perfect match. Nice atmosphere and friendly service as well.
Fun Fact
The name “schiacciata” literally means “squashed” or “pressed” in Italian, and Panotto was one of the first spots to really introduce this Tuscan-style sandwich bread to Ghent. The owners started the concept to bring a piece of their Italian roots to the city.
