Fun fact
At Bürr Bakehouse, the sourdough starter even has its own name: Maïa. It’s fed and maintained every day, and every loaf is naturally fermented for more than 20 hours before being shaped by hand using just three ingredients: organic, locally sourced flour, filtered water, and Celtic sea salt.
