Their seasonal special is a refreshing and summery twist on mazemen, a lesser-known but deeply satisfying style of ramen. Unlike the classic ramen bowl that’s served with steaming broth, mazemen is all about bold, concentrated flavours that shine without the soup. Instead, a rich, flavorful sauce lies at the bottom of the bowl, waiting to be mixed with perfectly cooked noodles and a colourful array of toppings. Absolutely loved it!
Fun fact
The word “zuru zuru” in Japanese is an onomatopoeia for the slurping sound made when eating noodles, and in Japan, slurping isn’t just allowed, it’s encouraged! It shows you’re enjoying the meal and actually enhances the flavour by aerating the broth. So go ahead, slurp proudly at Goro Goro!
