Gasoline Grill in Copenhagen is a name that resonates with nearly everyone these days! So naturally, while in Copenhagen, we had to stop by their iconic location.
The story behind this beloved burger joint is just as mouthwatering as their menu. It all began when a young Klaus Wittrup, at just 16, had his first taste of an American burger while on an exchange trip to the U.S. That first bite left a lasting impression, one he couldn’t shake when he returned home to Denmark. But the burgers back home didn’t quite hit the spot, so Klaus took matters into his own hands.
His quest for the perfect burger led him to open his own spot, a place where simplicity meets quality. Gasoline Grill was born in an old gas station at Landgreven, right in the heart of Copenhagen. From this unique location, Klaus set out to create a world-class burger experience, with no compromises.
The result? A burger that’s simple, organic, and sustainable, served in a stylish setting that feels just as special as that first bite. If you’re in Copenhagen, don’t miss the chance to experience what everyone’s been raving about, it’s a taste you won’t forget!
