The concept blends a cocktail bar with small, refined food offerings, making it a destination for both drinks and light bites rather than a traditional full-course restaurant. Giraffe also places emphasis on a curated selection of natural wines alongside its cocktails and seasonal small plates.

At Giraffe, the combination of well-crafted cocktails, natural wines and flavorful small bites makes for an enjoyable and relaxed evening in Antwerp South. The menu highlights lighter dishes that pair beautifully with drinks, like burrata with roasted cherry tomatoes and chilli oil, smoky pimientos de Padrón and artichokes with a fresh herb dip, all designed to share around the table as you sip creatively mixed drinks or a glass of wine.

Fun fact

Giraffe was opened in April 2024 by sisters Hanan and Touba El Bastani, who converted a colourful corner spot on Marnixplaats into this bar with cocktails, natural wines and refined small dishes. Their shared dream of running a bar together grew out of previous work in Antwerp hospitality.
