Nives Antwerp

Nives is a breakfast and lunch spot in Antwerp, nestled right by Harmoniepark in a striking white building with a generous terrace overlooking greenery and a children’s playground. The concept revolves around freshly baked sourdough products made on site, from bread and croissants to focaccias and pastries, alongside a range of breakfast and lunch options such as yoghurt bowls with granola, sandwiches and seasonal soups. The open bakery kitchen lets you see the baking in action, and the choice of organic, locally sourced ingredients is part of the venue’s identity.

Nives also functions as a café, serving speciality coffee, teas, juices and light lunch dishes in a casual, airy setting that suits a relaxed morning or midday stop. Nives is an easy place to settle into, especially in the morning, when the smell of freshly baked sourdough sets the tone. Add a good cup of coffee and the view over Harmoniepark, and it feels like a calm pause in the city rather than just another breakfast stop. Really like to stop here during my walks.

Fun fact

The name Nives reflects more than just a café. It started with founders who also run Antwerp’s Cafématic and built Nives around a real sourdough bakery right inside the venue, baking bread and pastries on site every day.
